FLINT, MI – Caroleen Scholet has joined the Isabel Foundation as a Program Officer. Her role and responsibilities with the Foundation will include program development, grant application review and grantee relations.

Scholet has been actively involved with Christian Science nursing for 35 years as a Journal-listed Christian Science nurse, mentor, director, educator and public speaker. She has traveled the world as Manager of Christian Science Nursing Activities at the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts.

“We are delighted that Caroleen will bring her considerable experience in the Christian Science faith to our growing organization,” said Tiffany Lovett, Isabel Foundation President.

Caroleen previously served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Christian Science Nursing at Tenacre Foundation in Princeton, New Jersey. She is Co-chair and on the Executive Committee of the Youth Action Committee and serves as an Officer and Board Member on The Principle Foundation Board of Directors. She also formerly served as Program Coordinator of the Christian Science Nursing Youth Service Corps Initiative.

Jennifer Hebert, Senior Program Officer with the Isabel Foundation, stated, “As an avid volunteer and advocate, Caroleen was instrumental in the formation of the Philanthropy Forum for Christian Science Nursing. She was part of the original team and served on the Forum’s Steering Committee for many years.”

Scholet is a passionate advocate for sustainability, availability and accessibility of Christian Science nursing and is actively engaged with individuals and organizations to advance and support innovative ideas around the faith.
